Terms & Conditions
These terms describe the scope and limits of what Lodestar provides. Our services are educational and administrative only — we help you organise your own documents and understand publicly available information. Please read this carefully before using our services.

SECTION 1
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:
- "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions in their entirety, together with any booking confirmation or service summary provided at the time of purchase.
- "We / Us / Our" — Lodestar, a company registered in Bangkok, Thailand, operating from 920 Phaya Thai Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400.
- "You / User" — any individual who accesses this website or engages with any of our services.
- "Service" — any of the document organisation, pension education, or records navigation sessions described on this website and made available for booking.
- "Content" — all written materials, handouts, checklists, reference documents, and information made available by Lodestar as part of a service session.
- "Session" — a scheduled appointment, workshop, or multi-session package delivered in person or by agreed remote means.
SECTION 2
Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, or booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they have been informed of these terms.
If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use our services. You are welcome to contact us with any questions before proceeding.
SECTION 3
Service Description
Lodestar provides the following services, each strictly within the scope of document organisation and general education:
Retirement Document Organisation (฿3,700)
A hands-on session to help you gather, sort, and label your own retirement-related paperwork into a clear filing structure. We provide an organisational framework only; no advice on entitlements, eligibility, or financial matters is given at any point.
Pension Systems Education Workshop (฿4,800)
A small-group informational session explaining common retirement-related terms, the structure of public and workplace frameworks, and how to locate official sources. All content is educational; no individual case is assessed or evaluated.
Records Navigation Support Package (฿28,500)
A multi-session package guiding you to read your own statements, build a personal reference timeline, and identify the correct official channels to contact. We organise information and signpost; we do not act on anyone's behalf or assess individual eligibility.
Services are delivered in Bangkok, Thailand. All sessions are conducted in English unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to adjust session format (in-person or remote) with reasonable advance notice.
SECTION 4
User Responsibilities
When using our website or services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking
- Attend or cancel scheduled sessions with at least 48 hours' notice
- Use the website and its content for lawful, personal purposes only
- Not reproduce, resell, or distribute session materials without written permission
- Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Understand that our staff are not financial advisers, legal professionals, or government representatives
- Seek independent professional advice for decisions regarding your pension, finances, or legal rights
SECTION 5
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, layout, visual design, handouts, and session materials — remains the intellectual property of Lodestar unless clearly stated otherwise. Nothing on this website transfers any ownership rights to you.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view website content for your personal, non-commercial use. Workshop handouts provided during sessions may be kept for your personal reference but may not be reproduced or distributed.
Where materials reference or link to information produced by government bodies or official organisations, those materials remain the property of their respective publishers.
SECTION 6
Payment Terms
All prices are quoted and charged in Thai Baht (฿). Current service fees are:
- Retirement Document Organisation฿3,700
- Pension Systems Education Workshop฿4,800
- Records Navigation Support Package฿28,500
Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of any session unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed. We accept bank transfer and major cards as communicated at the time of booking.
Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours will not be eligible for a refund, though we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule where possible. Workshop deposits for group sessions are non-refundable once materials have been prepared.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice. Any price change will not affect sessions already confirmed and paid.
SECTION 7
Service-Specific Terms
Document Organisation Sessions
You retain full ownership and control of all documents at all times. Our staff will not retain copies of any personal documents. The session output is an organisational framework — a folder structure and labelling system — which you may choose to adopt or adapt. No guidance regarding the content or meaning of documents is provided.
Education Workshops
Workshop content is general and informational. Maximum group size is eight participants per session. Handouts reference publicly available official sources. Attendance does not constitute enrolment in a formal educational programme and does not result in any certificate, qualification, or credential.
Records Navigation Support Package
The package comprises between three and four sessions, the schedule for which will be agreed at the time of booking. Post-session email support is provided for up to 14 days after the final session. This support covers administrative clarification only. We do not contact official bodies on your behalf, represent you in any matter, or make any determination about your eligibility for any scheme or benefit.

Disclaimers
Important: Lodestar is not a financial adviser, pension consultant, legal practice, or government body. Nothing communicated during any session, in any handout, or on this website constitutes financial, legal, tax, or professional advice of any kind.
Information provided during sessions reflects general publicly available knowledge and is intended solely to help you organise your own records and understand broad frameworks. For decisions about your pension, retirement finances, or legal rights, you should consult a qualified professional.
This website and all related services are provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure content is current and accurate, but we do not represent that it is complete, error-free, or suited to any particular purpose.
Links to external official sources are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of third-party websites.
SECTION 9
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Thai law, Lodestar's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or from your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative losses including, without limitation: loss of income, loss of savings, financial decisions made following a session, or reliance on information provided during a session in place of professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.
SECTION 10
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lodestar, its staff, and any associated contractors from and against any claims, costs, or damages arising from: your breach of these Terms; your misuse of session content or materials; or any misrepresentation made by you at the time of booking. This indemnification obligation survives the termination of these Terms.
SECTION 11
Termination
Either party may cancel a scheduled session in accordance with the cancellation policy described in Section 6. Lodestar reserves the right to decline or discontinue service to any individual who misrepresents the purpose of a booking or behaves in a manner that is disrespectful to staff or other participants.
On termination of a booking or service arrangement, any post-session email support will cease. Sections covering disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution remain in effect after termination.
SECTION 12
Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will endeavour to respond within five working days.
If informal resolution is not possible, both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
Thai consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 and applicable provisions of the Civil and Commercial Code, apply to this Agreement where relevant.
SECTION 13
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with any booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lodestar in respect of the services and supersede all prior communications.
- Severability. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a successor organisation without restriction.
- Notices. Formal notices should be sent in writing to our address or by email to [email protected].
SECTION 14
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of our website or services after a change to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised version. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate it directly to clients with active bookings.
