SECTION 1
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your device when you visit. They help the site remember certain information — such as whether you have seen a notice or adjusted a setting — so you do not have to repeat actions on every visit.
Cookies are widely used across the internet. Some are essential for a website to function at all; others help website owners understand how their site is being used so they can improve it.
On this website we use a browser storage mechanism (localStorage) to save your cookie preferences. This approach keeps things simple and avoids setting additional tracking files before you have had a chance to make a choice.
SECTION 2
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always ActiveThese are required for the website to operate. Without them, features such as the cookie preference panel would not work. They do not track you or collect personal information.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookieConsent | Stores your cookie preferences | localStorage (persistent) |
Analytics Cookies
OptionalThese help us understand how visitors use our website — for instance, which pages are most visited and how long people stay. The information is aggregated and does not identify individual users. We use this to improve our content and navigation.
| Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Pageviews, session length, traffic source | Up to 2 years |
Marketing Cookies
OptionalThese are used to measure the reach of our informational content and to understand whether visitors have arrived via an advertisement. We do not use marketing cookies for personalised advertising.
| Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel | Campaign reach measurement | Up to 90 days |
| Bing Ads | Conversion tracking | Up to 180 days |
Preference Cookies
OptionalThese remember small settings such as your language or region choice, so you do not have to reselect them on each visit. No personal information is collected.
SECTION 3
Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles above to set your preferences, then save them below. Your choices are stored in your browser's local storage — they are not sent to our servers and apply only to this device and browser.
SECTION 4
Third-Party Cookies
Some optional cookies are set by third-party services we use. These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:
- Google Analytics — Google Privacy Policy
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — Meta Privacy Policy
- Microsoft Bing Ads — Microsoft Privacy Statement
- Google Maps (used on our homepage) — Google Privacy Policy
Disabling optional cookies does not prevent the embedded Google Maps iframe from loading on our homepage. If you prefer not to interact with Google Maps, you can close the map area or use a browser extension that blocks embeds.
SECTION 5
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
Session Cookies
Deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used to maintain temporary settings during a single visit.
Persistent Cookies
Remain until their expiry date or until you delete them manually. Used for analytics measurement and preference storage.
